About

Anastasia has been specializing for more than five years in resolving commercial and corporate disputes, including those complicated by a foreign element. In addition, Anastasia has experience in supporting labour, consumer and inheritance disputes. Anastasia also participated in a number of alternative dispute resolution procedures (negotiations).

Anastasia is a member of the Young Institute of Modern Arbitration (Young IMA) at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration, the Russian Arbitration Association Council (RAA25), and the Russian Women in Arbitration community.

Anastasia is a recipient of presidential, government, and private scholarships and grants. In 2019, Anastasia was nominated for Young Practicing Arbitration Lawyers Award on the RAA25 Awards, and in 2024 for the HSE Distinguished Alumni Award.

Anastasia is an invited arbitrator at legal competitions in a model trial format (moot-court) (RAA Competition in Online Dispute Arbitration, Russian Arbitration Tournament, Corporate Dispute Arbitration Competition named after V.P. Mozolin, Competition “Dispute Resolution in the Eurasian Economic Union”, IBMM Mediation Competition, Competition “Court and Case” at the Higher School of Economics, etc.). Since 2022, Anastasia has also been a visiting lecturer at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, where she teaches courses on model trials (moot-court) to lyceum students.

Anastasia is the author of more than a dozen publications on the problems of the state arbitration process, arbitration proceedings, and civil law in scientific journals included in the list of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles and the Russian Science Citation Index. Anastasia also participates as a speaker at scientific and practical conferences at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow State University, Moscow State Law Academy, Russian State University of Justice under the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, etc.

Experience

  • representing a Russian subsidiary of a German packaging manufacturer for consumer goods in two disputes against the parent company of the group regarding advanced payment collection under supply contracts in the amount of approximately EUR 20m, interest on third-party money, invalidation of debt acceleration under a parallel loan, assignment and set-off 
  • representing a German company (machinery manufacturer) in a dispute against a Russian buyer regarding advance payment collection under supply agreement in the amount of EUR 1m and interest on third party money due to the sanctions imposed
  • providing expert support for a private person in a dispute regarding the invalidation of a marital settlement agreement, determining the procedure for exercising parental rights and responsibilities in relation to minor children, and collection of USD 1m fine for fraud against a former spouse (preparation of a legal memorandum on Russian family law and international private family law content for the Supreme Court of the State of New York)
  • representing a packaging production plant against a bankrupt water supply organization in a dispute regarding unaccounted water consumption in the amount of more than RUB 50m 
  • representing the subsidiary of an energy industry international service provider in a dispute against the supplier, regarding the obligation to accept and pay for goods under a supply agreement in the amount of more than RUB 35m and also in legal costs recovery proceedings
  • representing a Russian subsidiary of a British telecommunications company in a dispute regarding the collection of receivables in the amount of RUB 10m for mandatory non-tax payments under the Law “On Telecommunications” against the Russian Federation Ministry of Digital Development
