Yulian’s key specialization is advising clients on a wide range of corporate law matters and supporting investment transactions, including mergers and acquisitions as well as the establishment of joint ventures.

Yulian's experience includes working on complex cross-border transactions involving foreign law, as well as projects in the private equity sector. Yulian has advised UHNWI clients on asset ownership restructuring, the establishment of private foundations, and asset protection.

Yulian has been involved in significant projects across various industries, including digital technologies and IT infrastructure, cryptocurrency mining, FMCG, agriculture, aviation, and industrial manufacturing.

Experience

• representing Selectel, an IT infrastructure provider (ranked in the top 3 Russian IaaS companies by revenue), in relation to a tier-5 investment partnership’s acquisition of a 25% stake in the holding company of the Selectel group
• managing M&A transactions for the acquisition of businesses in the industrial and aviation catering sector; assisting clients with the creation of a joint venture between a Russian federal airport network and a major regional aviation catering operator
• supporting the creation of a joint venture in cryptocurrency mining, advising on the restructuring of investors’ assets and securing external financing, as well as ensuring compliance with Russian cryptocurrency mining regulations
• representing a venture capital fund in relation to structuring investments in various target companies, including investing in a car rental startup in the UAE with a high-end digital platform
• managing an M&A transaction for the acquisition of agricultural complexes across several Russian regions
• representing a major Russian grocery retail chain in relation to the re-domiciliation of its holding company from the Republic of Cyprus to the special administrative region (SAR) in Kaliningrad, Russia
